Wealth.  Power.  Success.  Self Esteem.  Confidence.  Why do elite members of society seem to have many of these qualities, while some people feel like their well has run dry of all of them?  When you stop to compare the two ends of the spectrum, you’ll find one thing in common.  They are human.  And while it seems that may be the only thing they have in common, it is, in fact, the most important thing.

So then, how can it be that some people seem to naturally have “it”, while others feel like life is a struggle?  Maybe it’s all in your head.

You see, we all have certain beliefs about ourselves.  Some of them work to our advantage, while many of them prevent us from achieving all the things we want in life.  I’ve worked with some very successful people, and I have yet to come across a single person who didn’t have a conversation in their head that could work against them.  Business owners, multi-millionaires, professional athletes, and other vastly successful people I’ve worked with still have the same thoughts as the people I’ve worked with who struggle through life.  So why then, does one group of people live in abundance, while another seems to always lack?

It’s simple.  It’s the difference between your mind running you, and you running your mind.  For many years, I wondered why people do what they do.  I learned so much.  I studied consciousness, human behavior, cognitive science, philosophy, psychology, and a whole bunch of other things.  Then, through working with people in groups or one on one, I saw an interesting pattern.  People seem to take action when they are learning what they need to do to create what they want to create.  However, people don’t take any action when they know what they should be doing, but don’t understand why they aren’t doing it.  It was then that I started asking “Why don’t people do things?”, and learned why people don’t do the things they know they need to be doing in their lives.

Here are the results in a nutshell.  Successful people created a story about who they are that drives them to where they are.  Same is true for unsuccessful people, but the destinations are vastly different.  Because one version of the story builds you up, the other version tears you down.  Stories like “I’m not good enough, or smart enough”, “I don’t know what to do”,  “It’ll never work for me”, “I don’t have enough to get started”, are the self limiting beliefs that cause someone to stay exactly where they are in life, and why they will never take action to get anything else, because they already believe they will fail.  Successful people say “Even though I may doubt myself at times, I know I will succeed”.  Because it’s ok to have doubts, it’s ok to not know what the next step is, it’s ok to have to learn new things, or gain new tools, but it’s not taking action that keeps people in a cycle of lack and of being unsuccessful.   And it’s a cycle that will continue until you reprogram your conversations that you have about yourself.

Many times that conversation lies deep within the subconscious.  The subconscious is a computer, holding all the programs we (and others) have created for who we are.  Most of these programs run in the background.  You won’t walk around saying to people “I don’t know enough!”, yet it is that story that will constantly get in the way of success, self esteem, confidence, power, and wealth.  In fact, if that is your program, you will stop yourself from learning enough, just so that program can continue to be true!  This is why hypnosis is such a powerful tool!  I have the ability to reprogram those thoughts, into thoughts that work for you.  You will then be able to take action in your life to get the wealth, success, confidence, self esteem, and power you have wanted your whole life.  Even successful people may have a self worth conversation that, while they may make millions of dollars, holds them back from creating tens of millions of dollars worth of wealth.  These conversations affect our relationships, our wealth, our confidence, our self esteem, our ability to create, our ability to take action to make a difference in our lives, our ability to feel and create joy, happiness, and contentment.  And until we address them, and reprogram them, they will continue to hold us back not only from the results we truly want, but can also easily achieve.  We all have the capabilities to succeed.  Some people act on them, some never do, and that’s the difference.  Successful and unsuccessful people are only that: People.  That means that anything anyone else has done in their lives, you can do in yours.

So what are some of the beliefs you have about yourself that hold you back?  Write them down on a piece of paper.  Look at them.  Feel them.  And remember, it’s just a conversation.  At any time, you can take action and create something else.  And if you’re not, then let’s reprogram you to once again believe in yourself, so you can create what you want in your life.  Because you are worth it, you are smart enough, you are talented enough, and you do deserve it!
